Welcome and greetings/Warm up (10 mins)

Student will arrive will they “uniform” for this game. Students will comment on their outfit and compliment each other.

Main learning event (55-70 mins):

Location: different places on Avalon Islands (or if impossible, different skyboxes)

Beside each game there will be a post (looking always the same) with a notecard that explains what the students have to do.

Teacher will start explaining the first game: a crucipuzzle. They will have to find in a big board the names of the days of the week, there are all except one. They will have to write in chat the name of the day missing to get to the next clue. But they have to be careful. If they write in chat a name of the day that is not “theirs” they will give automatically the clue to another group (since the crucipuzzle of that group will collapse showing the board with the next clue that the teacher has previously hidden inside).

Only after having explained this, the teacher will rezz the different board, assign them to each group and position the group on the right side (where the names of the week are written in the right direction) (10 minutes)

Students will solve the crucipuzzle in pair. They will not solve it all at the same time. In this way they will not go all together to the next part of the hunt.

Teacher will go around helping them with technicalities (for instance, not all keyboards have accents, and 5 days of the week are written in Italian with the accent on the last vowel) (10-15 minutes)

When the crucipuzzle collapse, it show a board with an indication that the teacher has previously hidden inside. This indication will recall class 2 and 3 and the name of the colours. There has not to be any new vocabulary in them. For instance, if in class 2 you they had to report how many horses there were at avalon,  or how many tents, teacher can write something like: "go to the horse and click on a red thing". Or "go to the tent and click on a yellow thing" (of course, teacher had placed before a "red thing", for instance a red globe beside the horse and a "yellow thing" beside the tent. (5-10 min)

The “thing” that the teacher had placed near  the horse/tent is a teleport, when students click on it they will be teleported to the maze (labirinto).

When students arrive at the maze, they take the notecard from the notecard giver post. In the notecard there are the instructions: they have to go inside the maze and follow directions (this time we are recalling expression seen in class 1 and 2: turn, go straight, etc). If they follow correctly the instructions, they will find another teleport. (5-10 minutes)

This teleport brings them to another area where they will find dialogues (dialoghi). They take the notecard from the notecard giver and follow instructions.

The dialogues are made with two poseballs and to speachbubbles with inside different sentences that can be combined to form a dialogue. On the notecard they have all the different sentences that there are in the speechbubles, so that it’s easier to decide which one they want to use and find them in the speechbubbles. They have to sit on the poseballs, and click on the speech bubbles above their head to build a little dialogue. The sentences in the speechbubbles are a reharsla of class 4 and 5. They have to take 3 photos of themselves (teacher can help those who have problem taking photos).

When they have the 3 photos, they send it to the teacher who will import them (3 for each group).  (15 minutes)

The teacher will show their dialogues and comment. The student talk about their experience, ask questions. (10 minutes)

Teacher will remind that they have to prepare and present in front of the class a short dialogues with a classmate and answer questions about this task. (5 minutes)

Language input: everything that was covered in the course.

Language skills involved: reading, listening, speaking, writing.

Sl skills: move, teleport, camera controls, interacting with objects, taking photos, sending IM, sit on poseballs

-----------------------------------------------------------

in this class there is no new vocabulary/expressions, and there is no need to send a chatlog to the students.
