Welcome and greetings/Warm up
Location: General course assembly area
Now students know each other pretty well, and their avatar has acquired more personality. They will be interested in giving each other advice on how to make their avatar pretty for the party.
Meeting and chit chat (5 min)

Each couple will show and explain briefly which object and photo(s) are they showing in the exhibition.
Language input: talking about choices, giving reason for a choice (è bello, è strano, è divertente).
Main learning event (65 mins)
Location and props: a shop with freebies (clothes, accessories, objects). Two large changing rooms, one for women and one for men
Student walk around the place and see the new vocabulary (above the different piece of clothes there is the Italian name). After that, they can ask questions if the meaning of something is not clear/they do not know how to pronounce a word). (5 minutes)
Students work in small groups (2-3 persons). They talk about what do they like to wear at parties. (10 minutes)
Students are given the task of choosing what one of their companion is going to wear at the party. (10 minutes).
Report back: . Teacher introduces some useful expression (for instance: scelgo, mettere, etc) Student now describe what their classmate would wear at the party and explain the reason. They are encouraged to use the name of the colours to describe the clothes. The person who is going to wear what they had chosen for him/her will give his/her opinion (mi piace/non mi piace/preferisco, etc) and accept (or not accept) the advice. 20 minutes
In the end all students take the chosen dress and wear it. (10 minutes) Teacher will have help those in difficulty.
When they are ready, student come out of the changing room Teacher introduces some useful vocabulary for compliment people: Sei molto bella con questa gonna! che bella giacca! Ecc. They exchange compliments (10 min)
Language focus: describing dresses, colours, taking about tastes and preferences. Compliment people.
General lesson feedback and group reflection (10 mins)
Reiteration of the main language items covered during the lesson in the text chat and by eliciting and prompting students.Answering questions and doubts.
Arrangements for next meeting/final evaluation tasks (homework) (5 mins)
Division of students in pairs for the next session (treasure hunt). They have to meet in the shop and decide how to dress their “team” .
