Introduction

Welcome to the debating class in SL!

The basic idea of this class is based on the debating concept - that two groups debate for and against a topic statement and that - and this is only for the fun of it - one group comes out as a winner! During the course you will practice several skills: Interactive skills, collaboration, organising ideas, rhetorical, presentation techniques and using virtual world technology as a source of information and a means of learning. You will do this in teams so hopefully you will also have fun getting to know each other.
